Day 1
Arrival day
Okavango Delta - Vumbura Plains
Touch down in Maun and take a light aircraft flight directly into the heart of the Okavango Delta at the private Vumbura Airstrip.
Upon landing, a guide will greet you for your transfer to Vumbura Plains, one of Botswana’s most exclusive safari lodges.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at your suite and your private plunge pool, surrounded by sweeping floodplain views. Sip a classic safari sundowner as elephants cross the horizon. End the day with a gourmet dinner under the stars, accompanied by the distant calls of wildlife.
Day 2
Rise early for your first game drive, tracking lions, leopards, and wild dogs across the Delta’s rich terrain. Return to camp for a slow brunch and a mid-morning rest.
In the afternoon, drift through the wetlands in a traditional mokoro canoe, spotting birds, hippos, and water lilies along the way.
Cap the day with sunset cocktails and an elegant fireside meal.

Day 3
Start with a guided walking safari, learning to read animal tracks and observe the smaller details of the bush.
The afternoon is yours to relax, enjoy a spa treatment, or join an optional boat cruise.
Tonight, opt for a private bush dinner or sleep under the stars in a custom-built star bed (available by request).
Okavango Delta
Day 4
Selinda Reserve – Zarafa Camp
Depart Vumbura Plains by light aircraft and soar over the Delta toward Zarafa Camp, an award-winning luxury tented lodge in the Selinda Reserve.
After check-in, head out on a late-afternoon game drive, often rewarded with sightings of cheetahs or massive elephant herds.
Unwind with cocktails by the campfire and a multi-course dinner overlooking the lagoon.
Day 5
Selinda Reserve
Begin the day with a sunrise photographic safari. No need to bring your own equipment. Zarafa Camp provides professional camera gear for your use.
Midday, relax in your suite’s copper bathtub with panoramic views or enjoy a massage.
In the afternoon, choose a cultural visit to a nearby village or embark on another game drive.
Evening includes cocktails, stories by the fire, and gourmet cuisine.
Day 6
Selinda Reserve
Enjoy one last full day of adventure and tranquility. Morning and evening game drives offer chances to spot elusive species.
Spend the afternoon at leisure or visit one of the camp’s conservation initiatives.
Toast to the journey with a farewell dinner in the bush, surrounded by lantern light and wilderness stillness.
Day 7
Departure day
After breakfast, board your light aircraft transfer to Maun or Kasane for onward travel.
Your safari ends, but the memories will stay with you forever.
